Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
The British International Primary School has a vibrant and active PTA that provides a strong link between school and parents.
The main aims of the PTA are:
- To forge closer ties between members of the school community
- To welcome and provide support to new families joining the school
- To organise social events for children and parents
- To maintain links and support for the school’s regular charities
- To carry out fundraising activities for extra equipment and materials to benefit children at the school
Activities
Regular activities run by the PTA include: children’s discos and games parties, autumn and spring sales, a Christmas Fair, welcome coffee mornings for new parents and an end of year picnic.
PTA Committee
A Committee of members is elected at the beginning of the school year and usually meets three or four times per term. Anyone is welcome to attend a PTA meeting and input and ideas are encouraged from every parent at the school.
