House System
House System
Our children enjoy working together as a team and love the friendly rivalry of competing with one another.
We have a House, or team, system that we use for various competitions throughout the year, such as hockey, football, the ‘Brains of Borgen’ quiz and of course, swimming galas and sports days. Trophies for the winning Houses are awarded at the end of the year at our Prize Giving Concert.
Each child is assigned to a House when they enter the school. Family members are always in the same House.
The names of the four Houses at the British International Primary School are taken from Scandinavian Mythology and are:
- Loke - Yellow
- Oden - Green
- Frej - Red
- Tor - Blue
