The British Curriculum
At primary age level the English Curriculum is divided into:
Foundation Stage: ages 3-5 (Nursery and Reception)
Key Stage 1: ages 5-7 (Years 1 and 2)
Key Stage 2: ages 7-11 (Years 3-6)
In our school our Team structure deliberately crosses "Key Stage" divisions in order to ensure continuity of learning throughout a child's primary education. Click on the thumbnail below to see the structure.
Annual assessments (SATs and OATs) track each individual child’s learning attainment in core areas of the curriculum and provide the school with a comparison against the norms of the whole British school population.
