The school is run by a non-profit making foundation (the Borgen Foundation) and is managed by a Board of Governors that is elected to represent the interests of parents, staff and the local community.
The Board of Governors meets regularly and concentrates on the broad, long-term direction of the school. Working closely with the school’s Senior Leadership Team, the Board establishes the school’s policies and delegates the day-to-day administration and implementation of policies to the school’s Principal.
The Board consists of a minimum of nine and a maximum of twelve members. Parents/guardians of pupils at the school have the right to elect two Board members to serve for a period of one year. The election is held early in the school year with notice being sent, in advance, to all parents.
