The Saigon Children’s Charity - Vietnam
The Saigon Children’s Charity strives to provide and improve education for some of the poorest children in and around Ho Chi Minh City. Without this charity, children in this area would not have the opportunity to attend school. As part of our contribution to this charity, we have committed to sponsor the education of two Vietnamese children, a boy and a girl, for a period of five years. Our funding covers school fees, uniforms, books, paper and pencils. We have also sponsored five older children on the charity’s vocational training programme.

Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is a UK-based organisation that distributes festive wrapped shoe boxes filled with small gifts for children, such as toys, toiletries, pens and paper. This well-established organisation now distributes such boxes to over 100 war-torn or developing countries worldwide, offering a gesture of hope and friendship to the world’s neediest children. Children who contribute towards a box feel a great sense of satisfaction and empathy, knowing that their gift will reach a disadvantaged child, somewhere, in time for Christmas.
Fundraising and Communication
We raise money for our Charity Programme through activities that involve our own pupils, such as bake sales, concerts in the community and sponsored events. We regularly communicate with parents and children about the Charity Programme using our dedicated notice-board, videos and presentations by guest speakers.
